KING

EXCITMENT!!! THRILL!! Thats what i felt when DHL arrive to my home with two huge boxes, the culmination of a two and a half year of waiting!!! Or maybe even more???? Since the longest time i seen a lot of hentai figures always based on female characters and i always desired something like that for male characters i like and sudenly, the chinese market answear just before the pandemic and started to produce MALE NSFW figures for a pretty high price since not only this figures were extremelly limited, but such project also bring an awfull lot of legal burdens in the chinese market.

Then i started to see NSFW figures based on Ryu, Chris Redfield or other guys i really liked and the only i could do was just watch and wish someday be able to get them. I really doubt i get them by now, but in 2023 i finally take the chance and decided to spent a crazy amount of money i never spent before on a figure and just....pre-order one of them that suited my liking: King from Tekken 8.

I love King, i loved him since the opening sequence of Tekken 3 in 1998 soo having something NSFW from him was quiet a fantasy for me for the longest time. Also, what i liked soo much from the figure is how it could be displayed in two ways: NSFW and a totally SFW mode that can be seen by anyone. Soo i spent way too more money than i ever spent on a figure before and waited for october 2024 for the release date. Then 2025 came and nothing.....then 2026 and i really tough i was scamed until a week ago.

Last year i had a taste of this kind of figures thanks to a friend who sent to me his Von Lycaon figure and i was really impresed but now this King is totally mine and just like with my friend figure i will post two reviews of King, the "normal" safe figure in here while the NSFW version will go to my other blog.

I really wanted to film an unboxing but i didnt had a chance since i did the unpacking completelly alone given the nature of the figure but i took some fotografic evidence of the package and theres two giant boxes with two compeltelly independant figures. Yes, two figures. This is not a figure with extra parts to build a nudy version....this is a porn figure and a safe figure that can be displayed together and thats not something i was expecting at all.

Hyperspace Studio are the ones behind this and while they release a few hentai figures as well, they also release a very nice Ryu NSFW figure that i wanted but since 2024 theres no updates about them soo i am not sure if the studio is still open or something happened. I am just grateful they finish this King.

I am sorry if i am yaping too much but this kind of item is not something i get everyday. While the box is really simple with just the title of the game misspelled for copyrigths issues (TEKEKN 8) and a very simple texture on it in the inside the figures comes extremelly well protected with a lot of foam and is divided in sections: the body and legs, the rigth arm, the left arm, the tail, the head, the cape and the base. Each part first perfectly and stay in place since they all have magnets soo they are easy to remove as well. The cape tough is a little tricky to put since it should be fited around the head/mask before put it on King soo the cape is just floating around his shoulders.

This is 1/6 scale, soo its a really tall figure that matches the Hot Toys, Sideshow, Threezero, Mondo figures and looks perfect along side Ryu from IconiQ and Haohmaru from Tunshi Studio and he can stand by himself just fine, the balance is really good tough e comes with a base with pegs for each boot and that makes it feel extra safe tough the base is quiet thick and make King to be even bigger than it really is.

This is a resin statue, soo the material is extra hard and really REALLY REAAAALLLLY HEAVY!!! He is heavy but the base is even more heavy and not only that makes it diffiult to move but also extra caution must be used with the place to display him. I dont know if a shelf or a bookcase can hold his weigth for a long time....and is evident a fall from any height is fatal for a resin statue.

This is based on the main Tekken 8 King CG artowork soo the pose is literally canon and easy to recognize and the sculpt is really really good. I mean the anatomy and volume is perfect. Given this is a pornographic figure they usually exagerate some elements to highligth the erotism of the figure but this time they didnt had to do it, the figure is completelly faithfull to the in game image and is erotic enough as it is with the huge chest, the thick waist and the abs and huge arms and legs.

The texture of the resign is extremelly smoth and soft to the touch and the way the abs are twisting is extremelly realistic. The pants tough have different textures, the black sections have a leather texture while the silver one have scales like a fish and the blue sections are completelly smooth. The boots also have a pretty strong leather texture and i love the loooong laces on it.

The mask is perfect. The fangs, the tongue, the hair texture without being overdone and more importantly, theres hair here!!! His eyebrows have some tiny golden hairs as well as his chin and of course, his whiskers, just like a cat!! I never before had a figure with hair on it!!! And thats something i really wanted to see on the Storm Collectibles figure tough i guess it was too much for them but it deffinetly is not for Hyperspace Studio.

The efathers on the cape are really really food, really pointy and very delicate i asume as the whole cape under them since it smade of resign but is very thin soo this part is the one that demands more care to be handled tough the flow of the cape is perfect and King´s tail fits perfectly in the middle opening.

Theres two elements that are not screen accurate and that exacerbate them a lot given pretty much everything else is perfect: first the strips coming out from King´s gloves and the biceps straps and i am guessing thats because the resin would make them extra delicate and easy to brake to the point  they could brake even in the box. The again they could have made them with real clothe soo i am actually tempted to make them myself.

Secondly the necklace. In the game this item is really big and covered in blue and red crystals with a jaguar in the center and looks really festive but here its just a chain with a circular design and a kind of kanji in the center that i am not sure it have any meaning at all. The nacklace is metalic as well as the chain and the chain is actually way too long soo i had to make a knot on it and put it under between the cape and the mask soo the necklace hangs just on his chest area. It dosnt looks bad at all but it looks kinda simple comapred to the game. I wonder why the changue?

The paint job is magmifiscent. The skin color is perfect and os full of different soft and darker airbushes that makes the muscles to stand out a lot in any kind of litght on a very natural way. The nipples are very sexy looking while the mask also have a mix of orange with darker orange in some areas and a soft yellow on the lower half. The paint job on the little pointy fangs is magnifiscent as well as the black lips and inside tongue. The green eyes looks perfect as well as the black dots.

Each pathern in the gloves and pants are perfectly painted, from the intense sky blue in the hands mixing with black and metalic grey to the dark blue pants mixed with orange, yellow, silver and red. The name KING on one of his legs and one of his knee pads with the little crown on it looks perfect and the boots have an orange airbush aplyed to the yellow boot while the blue have a black airbush that looks quiet nice. 

The pathern on the wrists bands and the biceps straps is more than perfect but even more impresive are the lace on those boots.....every single black tiny mini lace is perfectly painted in black and not a single section mix with the yellow or blue of the boots. The paint work done here is beyond perfect, more soo than any standar figures i every seen.....actually i only seen a handfull of figures with this level of paint but theres not too many with only the Hot Toys or Sideshow figures show such mastery on color.

The fetahers have a mix of dark pink with purple on the outside while the aztec motif underneath is painted in white, dark green, blue and yellow on top of black. The cape is just black with the tribal design painted in white and the logo of KING ANGER OF THE BEAST with a little crown on top taking center stage. Looks good but kind of simple comapred to the spectacular front view.

Liek i already say the base is HUGE and EXTREMELLY HEAVY and have a very simple yet elegant design on it with the Tekken 8 logo in front (no misspelled this time!). I must say the sculpt of the logo looks really good and the white and red paint on it are the only colored sectiosn of the base since this is almost entir black. Theres two columns in the sides behing King with a connection in bewteen them because this is based on the Arena stage.

Columns shoudl be taller and the floor should be grid to be screen acurate but the design can be perfectly asociated with that stage in the game, specially with the big dark blue lines on the clumns and the line in the conection and theres another one on all the perimeter around the base and under the logo. I saw....a little C conection in the back soo i used my cellphone charguer and it lit!!! The whole blue line aroudn th base as well as the big blue sections on the columns are blue led ligths and the effect is extremelly intense!!! It iluminates the entire room and the effect is quiet dramatic  and spectacular, perfect for King.

Another item included here is an acrylic standee with the picture of the figure itself on it. Its a very nice detail since i love standees and looks quiet good and is easy to asemble. And theres anothe two accesorys included in this first box: a flacid and an erect penises with pieces of his pants all around to make it look like his pants are ripped. This have magnets too and can be attached pretty easy but i wont show them in here but in the review of the second box.

This is deffinely the higher quality Tekken collectible i own and aside of the First4Figure statues i doubt theres something more luxury than this and i am positivelly convinced this is pretty much the best King figure to be produced soo far and is one of the finest pieces of my collection and deffinetly the most expensive. For a fan of King this is pure bliss and is was deffinetly worth the wait and worth the price i pay for it.

KING

As a Tekken enthusiast since 1998 i always wondered why theres not much of the series on the toys department, specialy considering Street Fighter rivals with DC or Marvel in the amount of action figures, toys and collectibles they have but for Tekken the scenario has been always dry. Epoch did an amazing job releasing a very complete Tekken 3 action figures set back in 1998 and we had to wait more than 12 years for the very short Play Arts Kai line for Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Five years later Storm Collectibles made our dreams come true with theyr high quality Tekken 7 action figures (tough still, they leave an awfull lot of characters out of it).

To my surprise, Bandai took the licence last year for the Tekken 8 series but for some reason i wasnt very excited when they release theyr Kazuya and Jin (maybe because of my apathy for the characters??) but that changed this year when they release Nina Williams and King. I do LOVE King, he has been my favorite character since Tekken 3 and i had no choice but to get him despite my limited experience with this S.H. Figuarts line. I only got Shampoo, Rashid and Zood on my collection.

In 1/12 scale, this King is shorter than his Storm Collectibles version tough he still one whole head shorter than Zodd (i wonder if in fact Zood is that big considering King is 200cm) but sadly i have no other Tekken charactet to measure King´s height but yhea, this figure is small.

He can stand on his own perfectly....unless he have his stupid and awfull cape on, in thsi scenario he wont stand at all since the idiotic cape is soo heavy it completelly broke King´s balance and the only way to make him stand in hunching him over the front or with a base, but given the cape size and shape i am sure a base wont work either. Anyway, just remove the cape soo King can stand perfectly.

He is articulated on the head, the neck (where the mask ends), the abs, waist, whoulders, biceps, elbows, wrists, legs, knees, ankles, half feet, tail, the two yellow thingys hanging from his arms, base of the cape and theres two articulations in the midle of the sape. Thats a whole lot considering how simple is his design rigth?

Both the head and neck have ball joints soo they can move pretty good up and down and to the sides, tough the pink feathers get in the way of the sides movement a little bit, the amount of movement is really good, same for the ball joint on his abs and waist. The shoulders have ball joints and a butterfly articulation soo he can join his arms in the front but given all the pieces are made of hard plastic and how big his muscles are, this section is more restricted than i was expecting. The biceps rotate and the elbows have a double articulation and they move witha  good range of movement. The wrists tough are very restricted by the yellow bands around them soo while they rotate, they dont move to much to the sides.

The two yellow ornaments hanging from his biceps are ball jointed, just like his tail, soo they have a very good range of movement and his legs can be "disjointed" down soo they hae more freedom of movement and they can be back up in any moment. This system is pretty weird....i dont think i ever have a figure with this kind of mobile ball joint system, certainlly Zood dont have it. Still, the ass prevent the legs to go back at all. The thigh rotate and his knees have a double articulation soo they bend really good and since the knee pads are part of it is pretty confortable move them. The ankles ball joints are kind of limited tough and i have no idea why tough the half feet articulation works really good.

Now the cape...it have a hole on the top of the back side that conects with an ugly, black rod with a ball on the back of King (hidden under his ornamented collar), i think it may works as a ball joint but problem is it dosnt, the cape is just hanging there like a portrait on the nail in a wall soo the cape not only cant be possed, but each time King is touched the damn thing fall to the ground. This ugly thing also have two ball joints in the middle but the material is hard plastic, soo this ball joints cant move at all.

Sculpt is really good, the jaguar mask looks perfect, specially on the fangs parts, tough it have no texture at all. The muscle build is fantastic and the butterfly structure around his arms have the musulature sculpted in the front and the back soo the articulation is hidden most of the time. The pecs have nipples sculpted as well as veins, just like on his shoulders and biceps. pretty realistuc.

The collar is extremelly ornamented in front while the feathers have a fantastic sculpt on theyr own and can be removed, but the collar section canot be, since theres pretty obnoxious pegs on King´s shoulders that penetrates the collar piece and conect with the feathers, soo remove them whill leave King with two weird hornis coming our from his shoulders. I am not sure i like this but i guess the figure wasnt designed to be displayed without this ornaments.

One of the gloves and legs have a porous texture while the bots with the leaces sculpted independently look really nice, my favorite part is the sole that have cat paws printed on them, something i always loved from this man. The paint is perfect tough theres a lot here: a dark blue boot and a yellow boot with black leaces and some grey details while the blue pants have yellow, black and gret designs and the title KING on them. This is a very intrincate design and the paint is perfectly applied, same foe the silver ornament on his biceps with red and blue jewekks and the blue gove on his other arm with the yellow wlbow pad that reads "Anger of the beast King" in very tiny text. 

The necklace on the front is painted in silver with shiny blue, red and yellow and the golden and blue patther on the black section is perfect. The feathers have a shade of pink and white that makes them looks shine and the mask have a soft wash of white in the bottom half and black dots and yellow eyes perfectly painted, as well as the black noce, lips, pink inside of the mouth and white fangs. I deffinetly have no complaings over the pain job.

Also, the msucles have a really good soft wash of darker tones that makes the muscles stand out pretty nicelly specially under direct light, they looks very defined and even wet like a true wrestler and the skin tines is darker and sexyer than Zodd´s. The ugly cape is just black, wich is dissapointing since in the game it shines like oil, with a rainbow of blues and reds but here is just plain black, tough the silver design on the back side with the King logo looks good i guess.

He comes with two extra pair of hands as well as a single left hand: aside of the closed fist he have relaxed open hands, claw shaped hands for holds and a single left hand with his finger pointing. The sculpt and paint is perfect, with the blue and black gloves that helps make them looks different tough they are made with hard plastic.

At first i tough changue the hands would be difficult, since, aside of the yellow band around the wrists, it also have black strips hornaments that fits in between the hands and the yellow bands but for my surprise, this dosnt move too much and make the hands wap pretty easy. As a side note i gate this black strips are not articulated like the ones on the biceps, they are always pointing at the dies and they are pretty obnoxious even if they cna rotate along the hands.

Sadly, thats it, no more accesoryes than the hands. I know King dont use weapons but its rpetty dissapointing they didnt add attack effects or something...i dunno, maybe Storm Collectibles really spoiled me but i cant stop feeling there missing potential here.

There is also a background made of cardboard and have the image of the King of Iron Fist arena on it. The printing is very high quality and the color palette with electric blues and vibrant reds is really spectacular and makes King stand out pretty good and at the same time, matches the character perfectly. Its a shame tough the background comes divided in two, soo you will always have an anoying division just ain the middle. Oh well, it was the same with Rashid background.

I got the feeling this figure would be my favorite thing in the world a few years ago, before Storm release theyr own King. I hate compare them, specially because this guy is half the price of the Storm one but not only this guy is shorter, but the materials dosnt feel as good and the lakc of accesorys is really odd.

Plus that cape...i really suffered taking this picture thanks to the cape. Make it with fabric would have fixed it or soft plastic, but the cape really ruins the overall experience of this figure and thats odd given how small it is.

But aside of that, articulations are brillant, sculpt and paint are magnifisscent and this is the most festive and spectacular King we seen soo far soo its imposible for me not liking him. I guess the more Kings we get, the better and it dosnt mather the sacle or price, its imposible to go wrong with King. Problem is, now i dont know if i should get Nina, Jin and Kazuya as well....

KING

 Storm Collectibles has been making dreams come true for gamers by releasing high quality action figures based on classics that didnt (or almost) had figures before, like Darkstalkers, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Samurai Shodow. Tough the difficult thing to accept aside of the high price is the insane amount of patience they demand, since they release a figure once every 3 years (or sometimes 5 years), wich means most of us will didnt live long enough to see a collection complete.

One of those serire sof fables is Tekken, releasing one figure every few years, i was expecting Storm to cancel the serires after Heihachi and Kazuya, but to my surprise Jin arrived later and now one of the best characters from the game; King. I love love LOVE King since Tekken 3 and i actually lvoed for a long time his Epoch action figures from 2000, but seen him in Storm Collectibles version makes me glad i am still alive and brings me hope for the future.

King is big, a head taller than the rest of the Tekken guys and just half an inche shorter than Zangief from SFV!!! I love how they keep the scale perfect between characters even from other series, soo in the end he is a little taller than your average NECA action figure and he can stand on his own, mostly since the shape of his boots make him a little bit harder to get in balance but is nothing to worry too much, tough i would apreciate a base i know Storm woul never waste one in anything thats not Street Figther.

He is articulated on the neck, chest, waist, shoulders, biceps, elbows, wrists, legs, knes, ankles, half feet and tail, all articulations ball jointed except the tail that have a cut rotation system. There is a lot of freedom of movement here thanks to his elbows pads, chest area, yellow underwear and knes pads being very soft plastic, nothign gets in the way of the articulations except the elbows that dosnt bend too much because his biceps are too huge, but i guess theres no fix to that.

Also, the ankles articulations are kind of weird since when moved to the sides, the feet also rotates up and down aumtomatically, this makes his feet a little bit difficult to pose properlly and share this weird artculation system with Dimitri, but aside of that is the articulations are an awfull lot of fun to play with!! Theres a millions of poses for him and is always easy to achive them.

The sculpt is magnificent. The musculature is impresive and really detailed, cast in skin tone plastic with a great realistic texture. The fur of his mask and proportions are perfect, specially on the mouth area with all those fangs. The musculature on his legs is also very impresive and like i said earlyer; all his costume except his ants is made with soft rubber plastic but this helps to not only prevent the pads and stuff block the articulations, but it also have the rigth texture for this elements.

I love his tail. I wish it had a bigger rnag eof movement but is soo squishy and i do love his shin guards with MEXICO written on the back. While this elements are really good looking and functional, i must say the belts on the pads and the belt on his biceps are pretty soft and thing, soo they must be touched with caution for not breaking them, specially with the elbows and knes back articulation.

The paint is really nice too, since his nude parts are cats in skin color plastic and all the sections of his outfit in yellow rubber, theres only color in the small details, like the MEXICO title on the back of his legs or the KING ANGER OF BEAST on his underwear, the silver mothifs on his thighs, the golden and black designs on his ass, the deep blue on his gloves. The only part were the color isnt that good looking is on the straps on his arms. Somehow the white and blue paint on them is all wobbly tough is difficult to see it given how small are this parts.

The mask have a nice orange tone mixing with white, black lips and a cute pink nose and tongue tough something that i notice are the eyes. They are only two black dots while in game, King eyes are two big green crystal orbs. The difference is pretty evident tough and i dont know why they leave the eye section soo undetailed given the impresive job of the rest of the paint.

There is a lot of complaing about his mask too since when the head is moved to the sides or up and down, the opposite side of the mask leaves s huge gap and sometimes the articulation is visible. This dosnt bother me much since i managed to adjust the mask to close this gap but this could have been fixed making the mask collar a separate piece.

For his accesoryes he have 3 sets of extra gands, one with pointing fingers, one gripping hands and one open hands. The gripping and open hands are 99% the same sculpt tough but the paint is perfect on all of them and they can be exchanged pretty easy (unlike Kazuya´s).

Theres no extra heads this time tough to compensate they give him the cape he use in Tekken 7. With a leopard mottif on the inside and the KING ANGER OF BEAST logo in the back side with goldena nd silver tones, this is the most spectacular accesory in the box. The wrinkles flows perfectly and the paint job stand out nicelly and since the piece is made with very soft rubber plastic, it can be moved and dosnt get in the way of the posing.

The cape have two brown belts that goes under King armpits and while they keep the cape perfectly in place, insert those huge biceps between the belts at the same time is a reall strugle, not much for King´s arms, but for the belts...i fear removing and puting back the cape constantly may broke the belts or at least unglue them soo this sections are the most delicate along side the straps on King´s arms. 

Tough he looks fantastic with his cape on and the collar hides the gap between the mas and the neck perfectly as well.

The other accesory is an attack effect, a white....windy thingy make with transluscent plastic that fits on King´s closed fist. Is easy to instal and give a nice effect of a fast punch tough i dont see it specially exciting, but thats to be expected because i dont really know wath kind of effect could have given him since he dosnt have any in the actual game.

Next up is his backdrop, the Iron Fist Tournament arena with the nigth sky, colorfull fireworks, big sceens, lots of fire and public, the scene is really spectacular and super colorful, probablly the most colorfull scenario of all the other Tekken figures and fits King nicelly.

Again, the wait was really really long (he was supposed to come out 8 months ago) and the price was high (he is the most expensive Storm figure i got soo far) but i love every bit of this figure, even with the plain paint in the eyes he is a lot of fun to play with and looks fanfastic on every pose he is given, one of the best mexican characters in videogames, King is the heart of Tekken as much as the Mishimas and i am very happy Storm picked him up for the collection.

There is soo many characters i wish to see in this collection, Armour King one of them, but up at this point i doubt i love long enough to see them. For now i am extremelly happy with this guy on display and how this is one of the best figure of Storm Collectibles (and thats quiet a feat).
