WOLFMAN

And speaking of the now gone Diamons Select, my very thin relationship with the brand was born from the Universal Monsters, just like with Sideshow. They started releasing toys of the Monsters in a moment were the characters had not much popularity. The line had up and downs, like for example, Dracula; they didnt get the rigths of Lugosi familly soo they had to make a completelly generic Dracula and the same happened with the Bride of Frankenstein but they also had some really amazing pieces, like the Mummy that came with his sarcophagus and the Creature of the Black Lagoon that included Kay Lawrence for display.

Pretty soon those figures started to be more and more rare soo i wasnt able to complete the collection but just recently i found the Wolfman lose but complete and in very good condition. This is the black and white version of the figure and is very rare for me to get this version of the Monsters but given how difficult to get is this figure, i cant complain at all.

This Wolfman is in the same scale as most action figures like McFarlane and NECA and fits perfectly with the rest of the Diamons Monsters and, to my very big surprise, this guy can stand on hiw own!!! I mean, the Wolfman is digitigrade and it dosnt matter the scale, this guy always ALWAYS need a base to stand but this one in particular dont need it and thats a very particular achivement from Diamond Sleect.

Back in 2010 the Diamond Select toys didnt had too much articulation at all, just like NECA. Soo this furry guy only have articulation on his head, waist, shoulders, elbows and wrists. The ehad have a ball joint but the up and down movement is minimum and while the shoulders are also ball jointed and have a much better range, the sculp dont let them move totally up. The elbows have a very basic hinge articulation while the wrists and waist only rotate.

Soo from the waist down he is totally static and maybe thats why he can stand on hiw own soo well because this figure feels extremelly sturdy. Wath we got here is the Wolfman in his classic stalking position, with his back crouched to the front and one leg in front. The sculpt on the shirt and legs is really really good, the wrinkles of the pants flows nicelly with his legs movement and the shirt hangs from his torso in a very natural way.

I love the sculpting on his long fingernails and the stance of his hands looks perfect and his feet are super cute, round with pointy tiny claws like a kitty but the hair sculpt looks realistuc enough. The hair sculpt on his head is good but theres something on the shape of his ehad that i really dislike...he dosnt looks too much like Lon Chaney Wolfman soo i think it was a rigths thing, but the shape of the head isnt rigth at all tough i really like his open mouth and little fangs sculpted.

I seen pictures of the color version of this figure and somehow the face sculpt looks much worse on it, in the black and white the different sculpt is somehow hidden and dosnt looks that much different of the on screen Wolfman. I have to say, i am really imprsed with the color of this figure!!! Yes is black and white but it have a HUGE array of greys in here is stuning!!

Is pretty easy to notice the difference of color between the pants ans shirt, the buttons, the furt and the base, every single element have a different grey that stands out on his own and at the same time looks pretty harmonious as a whole. But also the shirt and pants have a darkery grey wash that gives a much better flow to the wrinkles and the fur also have a different dark wash.

The eyes, fangs and claws are completelly white soo they stand out a lot, but overall, this figures looks pretty natural with this black and white palette.

His only accesory is a base soo yes, he stand on his own perfectly but the base helps keep him in perfect blaance and also help make the display looks better and consist ona  rocky surface and nothing more. The sculpt and grey coloring are really good since the greys used on the base are different to those in the Woflamn soo it looks like a realistic rock texture. Also the base includes a small and dry tree that can be attached at front but it falls pretty easy. But again the black used on this thing make it looks like it was burnt.

Overall, i am impressed by how good looking is the black and white paint and make this figure looks not only elegant but very natural and i like how sturdy it is but the lack of articulation dont give him much options for display and the face looks like a generic random wolf than the actual Chaney Wolfman.

Years later Diamond Slelect released a much better version with a bigger diorama stand as well as more articulations and more screen accurate sculpt but that one is very very rare....and i am still looking for it in a descent price. I regret not colecting this series despite i dont like some of this figures and also the very few i have are colored, soo this Wolfman looks out of place......mmmmm.....i guess my hunt for more Diamond Select figures continue.

UNIVERSAL MONSTER ALLIANCE

I usually use this space to showcase action figures and big size statues and leave small collectibles out of this; like for example those horrible and souless FunkoPop or capsule Gashapon or blind box figurerines. Recently i been building a small collection of Gashapon but i dont think they have a place in here and once i think about it i am not sure why i think like that because they are toys as well and a few years ago i made an entry about the Monster in my Pocket in this place after all soo i will showcase blind box figures this time.

The chinese brand Pop Mart was totally unknown for me until a few months ago when theyr Labubu started to be extremelly popular, almost as much as the FunkoPop, but this let me find out that a few years ago they released theyr own version of the Universal Monsters as small figures in blind boxes. When i saw pictures i tough they were made with AI because they didnt looked real, they looked extremelly perfect and colorfull and the series consist on the Monsters sitting on a teather chair, watching a movie in a "Super Deformed" or chibi design.

It took me quiet some effort to be able to find a sealed complete box with 9 blind boxes that contain the whole 9 figures, but it was deffinetly worth it!! Despite them being tiny (the size of an Amiibo) and sculptures with no articulation at all, this little guys give the ilusion to be bigger than they are and they sculpt is extremelly detailed, funny and amusing to look at. Each one of them looks very dynamic and full of life and personality.

Dracula is sitting with his legs crossed and his giant head resting on his hand and a glass of blood on the other and an expression of boredom. The design looks too much like an anime from the 70s and have enough details to make them stand out, like the pointy ears, the eye bags, the ring on his hand...and the colorwork is really good since his shoes are jet black while his suit is a little more mate black and it contrast nicelly with his vibrant red cape and pale skin tone. The paint is soo good his eyes are bloodshot for lack of sleep!! Both the blood and the glass are made with tranlsucent plastic and they can be removed from his hand but they fit soo perfectly between his fingers.

Next one is the Frankenstein Monster that have the the most cartoony design of the bunch with the gigantic head and the square face features and big ears. Even the fingers on his hands are square and his big bits and smilm legs contrast too good with the size of the head. He is also very "sleepy" looking and have a pompking full of pop corn. Both the pumpkin and the green jachet have a pretty stronf coloring works in emrald green and orange witha  wash of black that makes them looks like marbel. The scar on his forehead, the yellow eyes with dark green eye bags, the purple nose, the color aplication is really magnificent.

The pop corn cant be removed, but as a little extra the top of his head can be removed to reveal a very pink, very colorfull and wet and fresh brain!! Its really amazing to see such small figures having "actin features" and accesorys like this.

Next one is the Bride of Frankenstein, sitting in a extremelly femenine way with a flirtatious smile and stealing the pop corn of the Frankenstein Monster. The pop corn is pretty much the only piece with color since she is almost entirelly in black and white. Her dress flows around her body and curls around her legs pretty nicelly and is entirelly white with a soft black wash. Her skin is more pale than Dracula´s with black shadows around her eyes and black lipstick and her har have a very good looking mix of black and dark brown.

The Mummy have a really serious look on his face and seems very concentrated on watching the movie while eating a bag of chicken nuggets. Sculpt wise he is the most simple of the collection tough the details on his aged face are very good, specially on his mouth. The bandaged body have a light brown mixed with  ablack wash while the ehad have a much darker brown and the hair part looks more orange. Details like the golden pupils and the beetle ring make it very evident the people in Pop Mart actually did watched the movie since all this details are on it. The chicken nuggets big is the most colorful part of the figure.

One of my two favorites one is deffinetly the Wolfman. He have also an extremelly cartoony design with a big mouth with fangs protunding from hislower lip, the small dog nose and the eyes mixed with an expression os sadness and anger and the way he is sitting not like a person, but as a dog, with his feet on the chair and the fingers on his paws holding of it makes this one extremelly adorable. He is eating a bag of chips and i really love his hair sculpt and the beard, and the green shirt that looks like marble with the dark wash. I really love this guy soo much.

My other favorite one is the Creature From the Black Lagoon. He is sitting with an unexpressive face expression eating tiny fish from a can. The scult is amazing with the little tiny scales covering his body as well as the different plaques and fins around his head. The dark green of his skin si perfect as well as the yellow around his mouth and fins but the best part is the dark wash that make each scale stand out, specially on his head. I am not sure if its a mix of sculpt or is just paint, but the texture on his big head looks soo realistic. Also he is cmpletelly wet, covered on a film that makes him looks shiny and slimy and on his feet theres a small pong of transluscent blue water. This little guy is soo amazing.

Good thing they didnt forget The Phantom of the Opera. Bad thing is this isnt the original version but based on the ugly color remake from the 40s soo this isnt Lon Chaney but Claude Rains Phantom. He is sitting with one hand hilding his chest about to have a heart attack while the other holds a rose, with an expression full of anguish. This is the most simplictic looking character with a white gothic looking shirt and grey pant and a well groomed hair. The green and red of the rose really ar ethe tocuh of color this guy need since he looks like he belongs to a romance novel.

The rose can be removed and is rpetty difficult to put it on his hand given how small it is and the mask can be removed. The mask have a very nice "bone" like texture and paint and holds into his face perfectly thanks to his nice and the strand of hair. Once removed it reveals a burn on his eye. The paint work of pruples and reds on the burn looks really good but i seen much worse people on the streets of my city than this, this guys is simple way too mild to belong here.

Next one is the Invisible Man. I am not a big fan of this guy but he deffinetly looks more better and interesting than The Phantom. Rivaling in elegance with Dracula, this guy is watching a movie on his pijama, sleeping rob and slippers while sporting his cool looking dark glases and a hat. He is all bandaged but since he is drinking a soda, the bandages on his mouth are missing and since he is invisible, well....his ehad is completelly empty. His hat have a very nice mix of black and dark red while his rob and pijamas are brigth orange and blue and the soda cup is neon orange. This is one of the mst colorfull of the bunch and he also have his diary with his formula under his hand (tough the tiny book likes to be lost pretty easy).

Lastly the character i really dont like at all: Van Helsing. Yes....that Van Helsing, the Hugh Jackman one. I mean, not only he is NOT a monster, but this particular version of the character dosnt beling to the same time period as the rest and looks incrediblly out of place. I really wish they added Quasimodo or even the Metaluna Mutant instead f this guy but oh well...he is rpetty ooking as the rest, with his blue eyes, angry expression and curly hair. His coat is nucellt detailed as well ad his military boots and he is holding a beer on his hand and a crossbow on the other that both can be removed.

The chairs have a very clasic look with a brown structure and a red velvet inside painted with some dark wash to give it shadow (despite this section being completelly hidden by the figures) and looks like belonging from an opera teather and while in the front they are all the same, each one have the name of the movie each monster belongs as well as the date of release: DRACULA - february 12.1932, FRANKENSTEIN - NOVEMBER 21.1931, THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN - april 22.1935, THE MUMMY - december 22.1932, THE WOLFMAN - december 12.1941, THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON - february 12.1954, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA - august 27.1943, THE INVISIBLE MAN - november 13.1933 and VAN HELSING - may 6.2004.

The dates on the chairs are such a wonderfull detail tough this guys can sit on the table, the laptop, the console, every place with no need of the chairs, is pretty evident this is a cinema teather scene and they looks wonderfull  all together, perfect for halloween or to pose them in front of the TV, this are soo full of details and soo alive is always fun to look at them. This is the kind of toys that awaken on me the love for toys i felt when i was a kid.

There is an extra character tough but he is rpetty rare, one on every 108 boxes and he is Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde but i guess ask for him i way too much at this point i am perfectly fine with this group of monsters (except for Van Helsing, i probablly turn him back into his box) and really mpress me how in sculpt and paint they are at the same level as a Nendroid.

WOLFMAN

A few weeks ago i found something really unusual; large scale statues based on NECA´s The Nightmare Before Christmas action figures from 20 years ago.I never before saw something like this on in real life or onlain, not even in NECA´s official site. After some research onlain i only foind this are actually NECA´s official products and they was released in 2006.

Soo they are almost 20 years old but still, this statues have no presentation, they came in a brown cardboard box wth no logos, artwork or anything at all soo it made me wonder wath was theyr propuse?? They were sold to the public or to stores just for advertisment? They are part of a price or for internal use in NECA´s headquarter? At first i tough this were the prototypes for the action figures but it seems they produced 200 of this soo they are not unique, but they seems to be crazy limited.

Soo where did they sell such limited versions of theyr figures? Soo many questions but almost all info of The Nightmare Before Christmas related to NECA is about the action figures. This statues are not listed anywere really.

Soo it seems the collection consist in 4 statues: Jack as Santa, Dr. Flinkenstein, Harlequin Demon and the Wolfman. All characters from series 2 except the Wolfman and i was lucky enough to find not only the Harlequin Demon, but my favorite Halloween Town citizen as well; the Wolfman!!!

I love Tim Burton version of the Wolfman and when i saw this figure i was 100% i was going to get him no matter wath. The Wolfman is much more taller than the Harlequin Demon and nlike him...he can stand on his own thanks to his small paws and digitigrade legs but he comes with a round and very elegant base that let him stand with no problem....well, almost no problem.

This sculpture is a whole place, with no seams or different parts united and is made with resing soo this figure is EXTREMELLY heavy!!! Really a direct hit of this guy in the ehad can kill someone pretty easy!! And his legs are soo thin... plus the base is extremelly heavy as well but to hold him in place inly have two thin resin pegs that goes in a hole on the paws of the Wolfman, soo a tough movement of his upper body and the pegs can broke very easy.

With the pegs gone this figure is doomed to never stand again because given to the round and thick shape of his body i doint think i will be able to find a base suite for him soo i am really afraid of toush this guy, i got the feeling he is pretty delicate...i mean, my Wolfman action figure from NECA also broke his pegs and i had to glue him to the base...of the plastic version broke, i am rpetty sure this resin version could broke evn more easy.

Aside of that strong fear of brakeage, i have no issues with this figure, quiet the opposite. I always loved the action figure but this version make every detail pop up much more, the sculpt of the fur texture is pretty sharp but also the shirt have a texture of its own that mimics old fabric look mixed with some sections that feels a little like clay and this makes the figure looks an feels more like the puppet of the movie.

The head sculpt is excelent, with the sharp nail like fangs and the expresive eyes. The yellow and green of the eyes have a coat of shine that makes them looks weet and alive in contrast with the black body. More specifically, the fur is grey with darker tones of grey wash to enhance the sculpt and the black is only keept for the claws on the hands and feet.

The shirt also have a mix of different browns in a strips mattern and not only the paint is perfect in each strip, but the strip lines are also sculpted!!

Just like with the action figure version, theres not many accesorys here. Aside of the base he comes with a small present wraped in red with a yellow ribbon. Is much smaller and less eventfull than the Harlequin Demon present tough the sculp and paint are perfect.

And the biggesta ccesory is a singing elf! A perfect replica of the elf included in the action figure except this have no articulation on the neck and arms and the piece of paper cant be removed. He also comes with a round and black base that somehow makes this piece looks pretty elegant.

The whole elf texture looks like hand made with since the prints of fingers are visible all around  and of course, the paint is perfect if a little simmple and the side of the paper in front of him have the musical notes painted on it (i wish they were at the othe side tough) and while i never was fond of this little guys in the action figure series, this one hace a nice quality to stand out as a general Christmas ornament.

This figure is extremelly delicate but the sculpt and paint quality are much better than that of the action figure and given how big he is, is pretty easy he gets a lot of presence on any shelf or any collection, perfect for both Halloween and Christmas, this figure makes me wonder if they are really as limited as they say and makes me want to get the Dr.Flinkenstein but i doubt my luck strike twice after 18 years.

WOLFMAN

With The Mummy remake in the 90s there was a huge interest over the Univeral Monsters (that popularity was effectibly killed by Van Hellsing) and aside of Sideshows, the brand Jakks Pacific was also responsible to produce toys based on the Monsters. Soo far in the last 24 years, the toys of Jakks Pacific has been able to avoid completelly my interest soo i dont know too much about the brand, aside that The Mummy and Van Hellsing toys they produced were pretty awfull.

The original Universal Monster toys, tough, looked pretty rad since they came in big boxes full of windows, something pretty rare back then, and they also included a diorama/play set that set them appart to wath Sideshow was producing back then. They are pretty rare as well, at least in my country, i only see them twice at a very high price and all this made them even more important for the collection.

After 21 years i was finally able to get the Frankenstein Monster as well as the Wolfman. I am missing Dracula but from the 3, he is the most boring looking soo i am not too worried about him. The Franknesntein Monster tough, with all his set displayed with the chair and shackles is one interesting and atractive addition to the Universal Monster display but the Wolfman really stands out on his own as well.

He is on scale with figures of the beggining of the century; a head smaller to modern NECA or McFarlane Toys tough this guy in specifici is actually a little bit smaller given his legs position. He cant stand on his own, at all....not even with the base he stays uprigth thanks to the shape of his feet and, again, his legs position. The only way for him to stand is to hold him of the tree branch.

He is articulated on the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, legs, knees and ankles tough this are all cut joints, theres not a single ball joint here. His head can rotate left and rigth but not up or down, and he can move his arms up and down but not open them, and his legs can move in diagonal soo he cant sit like the Frankenstein Monster and that makes him stand even more tricky. Very basic and simple articulations but that was the standar back then....

The sculpt is really good! The shape of the head, the lower lip with the tusk coming out, the hair deffinition is very very good as well, i am surprised they also reproduce the Lon Chaney Jr looks soo well and while the body is not that detailed thanks to his over simple outfit, the shape and wrinkles pf the shirt and pants around his body looks very very good. And while i hate he cant stand i am glad they keep the doggy shaped feet.

The paint is really good as well, unlike the Frankenstein Monster, the paint dosnt looks sketchy but is very very well defined, the pink on the lips, the white on the fangs, the black nose, the soft brown on the face and dark brown on the hair with different brownish tones on the hair to give it volume and details, even the eyes are extremelly livelly with the brown pupil, something i wasnt expecting from Jakks Pacific.

The green shirt and grey pants have no textures but they do have a wash of different tones to make them looks more natural while the buttons on the shirt and the belt are perfectly painted, as well as the black claws in both hands and feet, but wath really ruin this good looking figures is the shaved neck.....he have human hairless neck!! The hair of the ehad cover most of the neck tough but from the sides, the human neck is really visible.

The set piece is bigger than Frankenstein´s but not as heavy at the same time: a cementery scene with tombstones and trees and the nigth sky in the back. The sculpt in the ground have a dirty texture, stones and all around a very irregular terrain with a ditch in the center and two pegs in this specific part to stand the Wolfman. Theres a tumbstone on the back as well as a weirdlly shaped rock in the front and a cross........thingy that looks made with wood. The porpuse if this specifi items eludes my undertanding since is not a cross at all but i remember seen this in the cementery of Frakenstein, deffinetly.

There is a huge dry and dead tree on the side with a single articulated branch. The wood tecture as well as the stone and disrt texture are really good looking and the paint matched perfectly as well, The ground have different tones of greens to make some areas looks like short grass and its mixed very nice with the browns of the ditch in the center. The tocks have different greys and have also a weet texture while the cross thingy have different browns to make it looks like a real wood. The tree is a little too dark tough, it have ifferent tones of black but overall dosnt looks as detailed as the rest of the scenario and it dosnt mix too much with the ground colors.

The background is not a carboard printed image but a thick plastic tablet that fits in the base and have trees scupted and painted as well. I wish tough they added more trees or tombstones since it looks kinda empty and i also wish they sculpted or painted stars in the sky clouds or something because the sky is just metalic blue and thats it, it looks too empty comapred to all the details of the ground or the Wolfman himself.

This time there is actual accesorys too, like a shovel. The shovel is very cute looking and looks too much like a toy, made with soft plastic and pretty plain and brigth colors. it fits on Larry Talbots hand but his place is agains the tree. There is also a lamp that fit on the characters hand and also can hang from the tree branches. The sculpt of the lamp fits to the overall tone but is just a black piece of plastic, with no color at all. I wish they painted the sides or they add a sticker to make it looks lit because its kind of difficult see wath this is.

There is also the action feature items!! Human feet, hands and head!! The sculpt and paint are OK and somehow, Wolfman can stand on his own with the human feet. The face sculpt is something more difficult, the face shape, sad expression on the eyes and even the messy hair are all close to Lon Chaney Jr Larry Talbot portrayal but each feature is exaggerated, like in a cartoon portrayal. The color on the eyes is very good, but the paint on his hair is very messy and they give him an odd orange wash too soo under direct ligth the paint looks pretty weird.

This is why the neck had no hair, i guess they tough it would be odd to add the human head to a furry neck and the wolf head hude the neck much better but i wish they did it the NECA way and make the neck exchangable as well but the swaping is pretty easy since the peg on the feet, hands and neck seems to be very strong (considering how old is this toy i was afraid the plastic would be britle).

Now the action feature: the sky block thingy have a hole shaped like clouds just behind the tree with a sky printing inside. In the back theres a lever, turn it and the sky moves like a clock and reveal a half moon half hidden by clowds, keep turning it to reveal the full moon in all its glory. This really helps make the sky piece much more complete and it works really good and is directly tied to the second action feature: transform Larry Talbot into the Wolfman.

Swap the hands and feet to have bin half changued with the half moon, swap the head to the Wolfman head for full moon to complete the mutation. Its a shame this has to be done manually, but this was the very first time they did a shape changin Wolfman figure and it stayed exclusive to Jakks Pacific for 20 whole years until NECA release theyr Ultimate Wolfman a few years ago and added the "changuing feature" again.

And laslty, the last action feature is the moon images glow in the dark. Is not mentioned in the box but its also pretty easy to see it, the half moon and ful moon are pretty brigth, a really awesome detail that makes even better and already brillant diorama.

This one, from the 3 Jakks Pacific figures, is the one i wanted the most, the best looking one and just like Frankenstein Monster, while the Wolfman figure looks not specially amazing, the whole diorama, moon changuin and accesorys all togetehr make this looks really rad!!

It sure is not as perfect as NECA´s Ultimate or even Sideshow version, but the human to wolf change and diorama stayed as a unique features of this version for 20 years and comparing it to wath was on the market back then (Palisades, McFarlane, Mexco) this was really such a unique premium figure in both sculpt and paint. It was really worth the long wait and made me wish Jakks Pacific managed to keep this quality for theyr Van Hellsing figures, maybe then they would had the chance to release the second serires with Karis the mummy, the actual Bride of the Monster and the Creature From the Black Lagoon.

WOLFMAN

Exactly a year ago i was pleasantly surprised by Jada Toys, a company that makes vehicle toys of all kind and - unexpectedly - they started to do "action figures" starting with non other than the Universal Monsters (just like Sideshow and Mezco did 20 years ago). This premiere action figures Monsters have a much more discreet quality than the NECA figures tough while theyr Dracula and Frankenstein Monster are correct, they did an amazing job with the Bride of Frankenstein and the Creature of the Black Lagoon.

It tooks them an entire year but serires 2 is finally out, tough sadlly instead of 4 figures we only got 2: The Invisible Man and the Wolfman. Of coruse the Wolfman is my favorite Monster and a must have soo i pick him in seconds. This Wolfman is the same size as Dracula and a little shorter as the Frankenstein Monster and the Gillman. Its really nice that Jada Toys really makes this guys in perfect scale with each other (something very few companys does).

He is articulated on the head, neck, chest, waist, shoulders, biceps, elbows, wrists, legs, thigh, knes and ankles. Eeveyrhting is ball jointed and the elbows and knes have doulbe articulation soo the range of movement is HUGE. The figures from last year have pretty stiff shoulders for some reason but that gone with this Wolfman, Jada Toys gives him a pretty soft shoulder articulations.

Given his simplistic design theres nothing that can get on the way of the movement. His chest piece is made with hard plastic soo of course he cant cross his arms, but aside of that he have total freedom of movement. Also he can stand on his own....i mean, he is not digitigrade anymore.... i guess Jada Toys didnt find a way to make him balance standing on his toes and refused to give him a stand, soo they chose to redesign his antire feet.

The sculpt on this guy is really good: the strands of fluffy hair, the serious look on his eyes, cute nose and fangs coming out from his bottom lips, the scult is really really good given how tiny the scale is. I am not sure if i see something of Lon Chaney Jr in here but is not necesary, the character is perfectly clear even on his face expression.

The body proportions are good too and the shirt and pants have totally different texture to give them a look of different fabric (in the photos this texture is pretty evident but n person is really hard to notice). The hands in hands are not in generic claw shape, instead they have a pretty expresive gesture and the feet, while sculpted in "normal human" mode, they keep the design with the protunding bones soo iconic of the character.

Paint is kind of a mixed bag. The brown color on the fur looks good as well as the nacre on the nails on both hands and feet. Theres black lines on his hair to divide each strand and the eyes, fangs and pink bottom lip are painted perfectly. BUT....i wish they give him a little bit of ligther browns on his face soo the details can be seen more easy. He looks a little too....dark....dark with just shiny eyes and fangs.

The paint of the rest of the body is much more basic, blue pants, brown belt and green shirt tough this time with some darker tones on airbrush to highligh the wrinkles on the cloth and how it wraps around his body. He looks much better than Frankenstein Monster for sure.

His accesorys consist on an extra set of hands to hold items. They are pretty easy to exchange tough nothing can beat the basic claw hands.

He also have an extra head with a fierce (???) face expression. I mean, i cant see too much difference between one ehad and othe other. The second one is looking down and you can see his upper lip and upper fangs soo i guess is more like he is about to bounce? I wish his mouth was more open and his eyes more focused or something, i really like more the basic serious head.

He also comes with the same accesorys the Sideshow and NECA version shave (i guess theres not a whole lot of options to give him): the silver cane that is used to kill him and a bear trap. The cane sculpt is a little fuzzy and soft soo thers not much detail on the wolf head tough is easy to see wath it is and it fits on his hands perfectly (for wathever rreason he would be holding it).

The bear trap looks really fake and plastc...just grey with some orange aribrush tough somehow they give it a real chain. The sculpt is good i guess and can be closed on the Wolfman´s leg, i just wish they used a different material.

And thats it. This Wolfman is basic and stirdy enough to be a kids toy but he is pretty enough too to be an adult collector, also i feel like i cant complaing too much about him given hos cheap, cheap really cheap he is. Also, in asingle year Jada Toys release more Monsters than NECA already....

I got the feeling i would have loved this serires when i was a kid, in the 90s, this feels like my dream toy serires. They arent as perfect as the NECA or Sideshow ones but theres just something cool about having this Monsters in such a small scale and soo crazy articulated! I am just not loving at all to wait an entire year for the Mummy.
