WITCHES

At the begining of the century, NECA released The Nightmare Before Christmas action figure series, a set of figures 100% accurate to the movie puppets, loeaded with accesorys and a very good price. Series 2 saw the release of Santa Jack and Dr. Finklestein as well as a pair of minor Halloween Town citizens, the Witches.

I dont know if called them "minor2 is OK tough since witches are supposed to be on the spootlight on Halloween and this pair sure will fir on the TNBC display nicelly.

This pair have all the charm of Tim Burton design on them. One of them is small, dark and with the shape of a bell, the other one is tall and extremelly thing, almost shaped like a snake with a thick lower dress, both have rotted hair like a doll, wich gives them a kind of repulsive look.

The small one have a very nice black and grey heavy wash in her dress that makes her look like a Burton painting coming to life and is articulated only on her shoulders and head. Sadly, i broke her tiny shoulders articulation and fixed them with glue, but this element seems consistent with the line: delicate articulations.

The tallest one have a more simplistic color tough she is somehow more resistant since is almost enterelly made with soft plastic. Her neck is articulated as well as her shoulders, tough theres not a lot of pose options for them.

The tall wicth can stand on her own tough the smaller one cant, soo she comes with a small token like base. Both witches come with theyr brooms cast in soft plastic painted with grey tones and they fit perfectly on theyr arms. They also come with a white gift box with pumpkins and a black bow as well as a heavy and big spells books. This book have an amazing sculot and paint and looks almost made with clay, wich fits perfectly for them. You can even see each individual page as well as colorfull ribons as marks.

The lack of articulations kinda hurts them a little bit, but overall this pair looks fantastic with the rest of the figures.
